If Cavemen2Cosmos does not show up in the mods list when playing the game then it has been installed in the wrong folder. If there is a folder called Cavemen2Cosmos then a mistake was made building the compressed file but you are now looking a the correct folder.
When you look inside the first folder is there another folder called Caveman2Cosmos or one called Assets? If it is Assets then the compressed file was made correctly an you need to go back up to the Caveman2Cosmos folder.
